Compatible List For

ATOLL X

• Lenses with a diameter larger than 90mm can not be installed
• ATOLL X is not compatible with Peak Design Capture Clip, It needs to add extension screws to be compatible with Peak Design Capture Clip(coming soon)
• Since the two-way plate on the ATOLL will be mounted on the camera, if the diameter of the lens is too large, so that it exceeds the bottom of the camera, the ATOLL X will not be able to mount.

SONY compatibility

ATOLL Model X is not compatible with model like Sony ZV-1/ZV-1F because of the Tripod socket at the bottom of the camera is not aligned with the center of the lens.

Compatible List For

ATOLL S / C / D

• The mounting position of ATOLL is designed to be close to the lens mount, As long as the outer diameter (4) of the lens mount is smaller than the inner diameter (3) of ATOLL, it can be mounted. The reason for this design is that the diameter (4) of the lens mount is usually small, so that we don't need to design a too large ATOLL.
• 

• PD Capture V3 can only fit in ATOLLs from up to down direction.
• All tilt-shift lens cannot be mounted.
• Most of Sigma and Tamron f/2.8 DSLR lens diameter exceeds the inner diameter of ATOLL and cannot be mounted. ex:
  SIGMA 14-24mm F/2.8 DG HSM Art
  SIGMA 24-70mm F/2.8 DG OS HSM ART
  Tamron SP 15-30mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (A041)
  Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2(A032)
  
  But, Mirrorless version can be installed. ex:

  note: ATOLL S is compatible with 35-150, but because of the USB port on the lens, ATOLL needs to be close to the camera, which will reduce the space of the lens release button. It might makes it difficult for you to change lenses, it's a considerable point.
• For cameras with a protruding top (such as Nikon D600/D750)
  the flash of the camera will be stuck with ATOLL and can only be rotated to 135 degrees but not 180 degrees.
• Models with the Remote control port or function button in front of the camera will be covered by ATOLL. EX: Canon R5/5D4

• Some lenses have a switch button on the left side, if the switch button is close to the camera, it may be covered by ATOLL
  you need to adjust the front and rear positions of the ATOLL to achieve the best space,but if the switching button is very close to the camera adapter (within 2cm), it will be covered by ATOLL and cannot be used. This is unavoidable, please pay attention before purchasing.
• The focus ring/zoom ring on some lenses is very close to the camera adapter (within 2cm), it will be covered by ATOLL and cannot be used, this is unavoidable, please pay attention before purchase.
• If the lens release button is on the left side of the camera, when you need to change the lens in the vertical mode the release button may be covered by ATOLL. you need to adjust the front and rear positions of the ATOLL to achieve the best finger space.
• Because ATOLL is mounted on the camera, can't balance the camera optimally like a tripod collar with long lenses. If you use a long lens over 200mm or more than 1kg, it is recommended to use it with the original tripod collar for the most stable operating experience.
• ATOLL is suitable for general DSLR and mirrorless cameras, The following cameras are not compatible with ATOLL
• Flagship cameras (similar to Canon 1DX/Canon R3/Nikon D6/Nikon Z9)
• Medium format cameras(like Fujifilm GFX100S)
• Camera with battery grips or body cages
• ATOLL can work with most gimbals : Sometimes you need to add counterweight on the gimbal for balance, if you want to mount ATOLL on the gimbal, you can refer to these videos of creative photographers to see if it fits your needs.

• ATOLL's tripod base is Arca Swiss specification, If you use other specifications tripod, you can lock your quick release plate on it

• If you use this type of tripod, Its height is relatively low, ATOLL will not be able to rotate,You need to add a heightened quick release clamp to increase the height.

• It is not recommended to install Peak Design anchors on ATOLL quick-release plates because the cuts on the quick-release plates are sharp and may cut it.
  If you want to install PD's anchors, it is recommended to add a carabiner.
  

 

SONY compatibility
 

• The inner diameter of the ATOLL S is 63.5mm, and lenses larger than 63.5mm in diameter cannot be mounted.
• Most Sony E-mount lenses are compatible with ATOLL S
  Even a telephoto lens can be mounted (just for example, for better balance, telephoto lens please use its own tripod collar)

• Some manual lenses have a large diameter and cannot be installed.
• The lens release button will be covered by the ATOLL, need to adjust the front and rear position of the ATOLL to get the best finger space. Please check the installation guide video.
• Because the body of Sony α series cameras is very compact(such as A7S/A73/A7R3, etc. or earlier cameras) the space between the fingers and the camera grip will be affected. For users with larger fingers or when wearing gloves the space will be more limited. Adjust the front and rear position of the ATOLL to achieve the best space.
• Teleconverter Lens is not compatible.
• Not compatible with Sony E PZ motorized lens
• Laowa/Viltrox lenses whose adapter diameter exceeds 63.5mm cannot be mounted: such as Laowa 45mm F/0.95, Viltrox 75mm F/1.2, Bright star 11mm 2.8
  - If you want to mount these lenses on your Sony E-mount camera, you might consider ATOLL D +Heightening Plate, It's further away from the camera and although the finger space in the grip is still affected by ATOLL, you can hold the camera grip.
  - NOTE 1: Under this combination, ATOLL D cannot be completely aligned with the center of the lens.
  - NOTE 2: Lenses with a diameter larger than 75mm such as Sony 70-200 GM II or Tamron 35-150 cannot be mounted.
  - NOTE3: If you want to be able to install all lenses, it is recommended to choose ATOLL X+

A6XXX & ZV-E10 series cameras are low in height,It is recommended to use add-ons Heightening Plate for more adjustment space. All E-mount Models are not compatible with Sony LA-EA5 adapter, Metabones adapter or other adapters not listed. A7III/A7SII/A7rIII or older models are compatible with Sigma MC11 adapter(A7IV/A7SIII/A7RV not compatible), If you want to use MC11 on Sony E-system camera, you need to adjust the ATOLL to be close to the camera The screw holes at the bottom of the A7C/A7CII/A7Cr/ZV-E1/ZV-E10 are closer to the edge, so the Two new stability supports of ATOLL S+, cannot be fully touch the camera,However, the lens can still be mounted on A7C/A7CII/A7Cr/ZV-E1/ZV-E10 after installing ATOLL S+

Canon compatibility

• The inner diameter of the ATOLL C/D is 75mm, and lenses larger than 75mm in diameter cannot be mounted.
• The recommended maximum mountable lens for Canon RF mount is RF 70-200 f/2.8.
• The recommended maximum mountable lens for Canon EF mount is EF 16-35 F/2.8L II.
• EF16-35F/2.8L III and EF24-105 F/4L and EF24-70 F2.8 L II or larger diameter lenses can be installed, but the gap with ATOLL is very small, and there is a risk of scratching the lens, So it is not recommended to use it with ATOLL.
• ATOLL C is compatible with most RF lenses

• If you use the EF-RF adapter, ATOLL C is also compatible with it

• If you use Drop-in adapter, you can only use ATOLL D, otherwise it will be blocked.
• But due to the installation of ATOLL D, it will not be possible to install RF lenses, If you sometimes use the adapter and sometimes don’t, then we suggest you choose ATOLL C and add an extended plate.
  
  The body of ATOLL C and ATOLL D are the same. The difference is the length of the quick release plate.You can replace the quick release plate on the ATOLL C with an Extended quick release plate, it will become ATOLL D.

• If you are a user of an adapter ring + EF lens, we recommend that you choose this : 
  (1)Canon R system & adapter ring + EF lens = ATOLL C
  (2)Canon R system & use Drop-in adapter+EF lens = ATOLL D
  (3)Currently using the Canon R system & adapter+EF lens, but may purchase RF lenses in the future = ATOLL C + Extended quick release plate.
• Most TS shift lenses are not compatible with ATOLL
  However, if you use a Canon RF series camera and mount a TS lens through an EF-RP adapter, it will be compatible with ATOLL

note C1	Compatible with Ef-RF adapter When use ATOLL C :Control Ring adapter & Drop-In Filter Mount adapter or other adapters not listed can't be used. When use ATOLL D : Drop-In Filter Mount adapter can be used. The battery cover of the R50&R100 will be blocked by the ATOLL, and the ATOLL needs to be removed before replacing the battery. The ATOLL C plate has a width of 50.5mm, which will block the battery cover of R50&R100 ,Replace it with a Two-Way Plate , 45mm in width, to make the battery cover fully open.
note C2	Zoom ring of EF 11-24 f/4 & EF16-35 f/2.8 III & EF24-70 f/2.8II or larger lenses may interfere with ATOLL Dand is not recommended. With Heightening Plate ,the ATOLL D can be properly aligned to the center of the lens. If you want to install ATOLL on your Canon DSLR and it is compatible with most lenses, it is recommended to install ATOLL X+

Nikon compatibility

• The inner diameter of the ATOLL C/D is 75mm, and lenses larger than 75mm in diameter cannot be mounted.
• The recommended maximum mountable lens for Nikon Z mount is Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8S.
• When using with FTZ, the ATOLL is mounted on the FTZ, not the camera.
• When using with FTZ, it can only be used with ATOLL C

• When using with FTZ II, ATOLL is mounted to the camera.
• If you use FTZ II, it can be used with ATOLL C or ATOLL D
• Because the flash of Nikon DSLR is very protruding, many lenses cannot be mounted, so we do not recommend installing ATOLL on Nikon DSLR.
• If you want to install ATOLL on Nikon DSLR, it is recommended to choose ATOLL X
