This is an accessory for ATOLL. An Heightening Plate is designed for adjustment of the center of lens.

Unlike a ball-head, ATOLL makes your camera turning lots more easier.
Compares to a L-bracket, it rotates with the same center of your lens. It also avoid lines stuck.
If you use a tripod collar, you will find out that change lenses is a terrible experience. But with ATOLL, not anymore.
To rotate your camera in dark is difficult and dangerous. ATOLL gives you the ability to rotate it safely. And you can really hear a "click" sound at 0°, 90°, 180°.

Product Specification
If you use a long lens over 200mm or more than 1kg, it is recommended to use it with the original tripod collar for the most stable operating experience. Because ATOLL is mounted on the camera, can't balance the camera optimally like a tripod ring with long lenses.
